YES-Track & Field (YES-TF)

We highly encourage youth track clubs to follow the Youth ENDURO Sports™ (YES-Athletics) model for

Youth Track & Field. The YES-TF™ model includes the following features that we believe are important:

(1) Compatibility with Track & Field programs offered through public and private school organizations;

(2) Events offered at each age are designed to provide a manageable learning experience for that age;

(3) At local meets, parents are encouraged and taught how to be "hands on" and not just spectators;

(4) At local meets, individual awards are not emphasized. Personal achievement is the REAL reward.

Important Benefit for Meet Hosts Outside Oklahoma and Texas

YES-Athletics™ provides a unique option for clubs wanting to host their own meet. In 2013, in states

outside of OK and TX, YES-Athletics™ will sanction youth track meets and will give the host the option

of determining the age groups and events that best suit the needs of the athletes attending their meet.

In other words, you determine the age groups and the events that will be offered at YOUR meet.

The only requirements are as follows:

(1) You must publicize the age groups and events that will be offered at your meet, well in advance of the

date for your meet. (You obviously don't want someone to show up for your meet and be confused.)

(2) All of the participants at your meet MUST be members of YES-Athletics™.

(3) Your request for Sanctioning must be received by YES-Athletics at least two weeks before the meet.

(YES-Athletics™ can provide you with the appropriate Certificate of Liability Insurance.)
